As an experiment I have enabled the option to rate each post on this blog.

You have to click on the title and view the post by itself in order to rate the post, or to see the rating for that matter.

I will let this run for a while to see if anybody uses it.  If it gets little or no use then it is probably better to not have the feature on at all.
